1. Scope of this notice
This notice describes this website’s quote-request and contact workflows. It does not replace the privacy policy applicable to the production ELD app or fleet portal. The final operator legal name, business notice address, retention periods, and service-provider disclosures must be confirmed before public launch.
2. Information you provide
The setup form asks for company information, USDOT/MC numbers, business contacts, truck specifications, device and subscription quantities, billing and shipping addresses, and notes. The contact form asks for your name, company, email, optional phone, and message. Do not submit payment-card information, passwords, or driver identification documents.
3. How the review version works
In the packaged review version, form fields stay in browser memory while the page is open. The forms prepare a local download and an email handoff; they do not silently submit information to a server. Information is sent only if you choose to send the email yourself. Downloaded records remain on your device. We do not place form contents in localStorage or add advertising or analytics trackers.
4. When direct quote submission is enabled
If the optional quote service is configured for a live deployment, submitting the form sends the request to the website operator. The service records the submitted details, a request identifier, server receipt time, consent-text version, and limited IP/browser evidence for abuse prevention and recordkeeping. That mode must be disclosed in the final notice, along with the operator, lawful purposes, service providers, retention, and rights procedures. The service does not accept payment-card details or execute the draft service agreement.
5. Purpose and sharing
Submitted business information is used to respond to the request, assess compatibility, prepare a quote, and keep a record of the inquiry. Your email provider and the recipient’s email provider process an email you send. Links to app stores, the fleet portal, and source websites take you to services governed by their own policies. The final website operator should identify any additional hosting, CRM, email, or payment providers before enabling those integrations.
6. Your choices and contact
You can leave the form without sending, clear the form by reloading, or contact the team directly at info@trueroadeld.com. Ask that address about access, corrections, or deletion of information you have actually submitted. The production ELD app’s own privacy policy governs its operational records. Any rights that apply under law remain available.
7. Security and retention
This review package does not make a guarantee of security or a final retention commitment. A live operator should use HTTPS, restrict access to requests, keep data outside the public web directory, test backups, and apply a documented retention and deletion schedule. These deployment requirements must be implemented before direct data collection is enabled.
